Jane Santorumn - Artist

I have been a land snorkeler all my life, I just didn't know what it was called. I slow down walks to stop and really look at a lichen formation or the incredible view. I use highway pull outs to kiss my husband and/or soak up the scenery. I collect interesting rocks and feathers. I rarely go to visit nature without a camera to document her wonders. And now my stepson's got it- he calls me out to see interesting bugs and frogs and takes time to notice the weather, the sunset, the shape and color of the moon, and how the clouds tickle the mountains. If I can awaken even just one young person to the intrigue and beauty of the natural world then the legacy of us snorkelers lives on. Three cheers for your website!
