Rich Gallego - Plein Air Instructor
I teach my students to spend some time taking in their surroundings before they begin to paint, to appreciate the sounds, smells, the feel of a place. Yes, this informs their effort better, that much is obvious. And they think I'm just teaching them to paint. That is, until they realize over time how much their appreciation of nature has grown. Thanks, Clyde, for teaching this to me.
