Steven A. Simpson-Snorkeling Binoculars

I'm not in the habit of shilling for binocular manufacturers, but I am just blown away by my new small binoculars — the Pentax Papilio 21 mms. These are the best snorkeling binos I have ever used! They are designed for butterfly enthusiasts (whence the name Papilio) and they are my go-to glasses whenever I am going out for a walk and want to travel light. These binos have a novel focusing mechanism that allows you to focus on extremely close objects — from as close as 2 feet! I can walk through the woods and focus in on an insect or flower right *at* my feet. If you are looking for a new pair of lightweight, compact binos for snorkeling that aren't too expensive you should check these out. They are truly amazing. Happy snorkeling!
